Fair enough to ask
Why do some radio families cost more than others?
The licence cost per calculation varies by family. Ford and Renault units are the cheapest to compute; Toyota ERC, Jaguar and Eclipse cost us more per lookup, so they cost you more. We would rather price each family honestly than average everything up to the most expensive one.
Is there a discount for more than one code?
If you are a garage or auto electrician doing volume, email us and we will sort out sensible pricing. For one or two units, the list price is the price.
Do you charge if the lookup fails?
No. If a code cannot be calculated for your serial, you are not charged — and if a payment has already gone through we refund it.
What currency am I charged in?
US dollars. Your bank converts at its own rate if you hold another currency, and Stripe shows you the amount before you confirm.
