A factory radio code is an anti-theft measure for the head unit, not for the vehicle, and recovering it is exactly what dealers do — usually for more money and with an appointment. You confirm at checkout that the unit is yours, and we decline anything that looks like it is not. What we will never supply is listed in our acceptable use policy.

If it still will not open, you get a full refund — see the refund policy. The single most common cause is a misread character: a zero read as an O, or a five read as an S.

Sometimes. Ford M series, Toyota ERC and Eclipse ESN units can display their serial on screen with a button combination, so nothing needs to come out. Most others print the serial only on the chassis label. Each serial-finding guide says which applies to your unit and what tools you need.
