How to find your Chrysler Panasonic TM9 serial

The TM9 prefix identifies the family. Both Chrysler-badged TM9 units and the Panasonic-built Dodge VP variants print a serial starting with those three characters.

  • Dodge Ram units of this era are recessed; two long-reach DIN keys or the correct Chrysler puller make removal much easier.

  • If the label shows no TM9 prefix, check whether it is a Jeep-format serial beginning with T instead.
